حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے حضرت عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو عمان کے بادشاہ جیفر کے پاس سفیر بنا کر بھیجا تھا۔

حضرت عمرو بن العاص نے عمان کے بادشاہ کو اسلام کی دعوت دی، اور اس کا اچھا ردعمل سامنے آیا۔

حضرت عثمان رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے کفار مکہ کے ساتھ بات چیت کے لیے روانہ کیا۔

حضرت عثمان رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے کفار مکہ سے یہ پیشکش کی کہ مسلمانوں کو طواف کرنے کی اجازت دی جائے، تاہم ان کے ساتھ یہ مذاکرات کامیاب نہ ہو سکے۔

Explanation

The first congregational prayer (Salah) led by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was performed in Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, with Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) as the Imam.

This occurred during the early days of Islam when the Prophet (PBUH) was still in Mecca, before the migration to Medina.

Explanation

The Miraj event took place on the 27th of Rajab in the 10th (621 A.D) year of Prophethood.

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was staying at the house of Umm Hani on the night of Miraj.

That night, Angel Jibreel came to the Prophet (SAW) and took him on the journey of Israa and Miraj.

During Miraj, Hazrat Adam and Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) met at the first heaven.

The event is mentioned in Surah Bani Israel.

It is also known as 'Isra and Mi'raj' or 'Shab-e-Meraj'. 

• Isra: Night journey from Makkah to Masjid Al-Aqsa.
• Mi’raj: Journey from Masjid Al-Aqsa to the heavens.

Gifts of the 27th of Rajab:

• The five prescribed daily prayers.
• The last part of the chapter of Al-Baqara (Amanar-Rasulu).
