Punjab Police officer SP Aisha Butt is set to receive the Excellence in Performance Award 2025 from the IAWP.

The award honours her "distinguished service and commitment to policing,".

SP Butt will be presented the award during the IAWP's in September 2025.

The Annual Training Conference of IAWP will be held in Glasgow, Scotland.

President Asif Ali Zardari posthumously awarded former prime minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto with Nishan-e-Pakistan in recognition of his services in the field of public service.

His daughter Sanam Bhutto received the award.

Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was a Pakistani politician & founder of Pakistan People's Party (PPP).

He became ninth prime minister of Pakistan from 1973 to 1977.

He was executed on 4 April 1946.

The world health organization (WHO) declared Pakistan a Trachoma-free country.

Pakistan has become the 19th country globally to reach this historic milestone.

In this context, Dr. Luo Dapeng, head of the WHO mission in Pakistan, presented a congratulatory letter to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
