Explanation
Passage

PASSAGE:
Traffic means everything using the roads. Taxis, buses, cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, tongas and rickshaws etc. are traffic. You are a part of the traffic when you walk along the pavement.
Today, more and more people live in cities. As a result, there is a lot of traffic. The roads are too narrow. Some roads are broken and there are pits and ditches in them. The result is that there are many ACCIDENTS. Why do accidents happen? Some people say it is the fault of people who use the roads. That means everybody. If every road-user is careful, there will be no accidents, we must improve our road. Our roads should be smooth and straight. Roads with corners and blind corners are dangerous.
Accidents often happen when one road crosses another. Instead, one road goes high over another road. This is called a ‘fly over’. This is a good idea because the traffic does not have to stop and the vehicles do not hit each other. We all use the roads. We walk along the pavement. Sometimes we have to cross the road. Accidents often happen when people cross the roads. We should keep in mind the following:
1- First find a safe place to cross, then stop.
2- Stand on the pavement near the edge. ,
3- Look at the coming traffic.,
4- Wait if the traffic is coming. Don’t be HASTY.,
5- Let the traffic pass, when there is no traffic nearby, walk straight across the road.
