Miqat is a principle boundaries at which Muslim pilgrims intend to perform the Hajj must enter the state of Ahram.
Typically there are 5 Miqats
1. Yalamlam Miqat: This is the Miqat for the people of Yemen, India, Pakistan, China, South Africa, Nigeria, Japan.
2. Al-Juhfah: This Miqat is also known as Rabigh. This is the Miqat for the people of North America, North Africa, Jordan, Lebanon, Europe, Turkey, Syria, Egypt, Algeria, Sudan.
3. Dhat Irq: This is the Miqat for the people of Iraq, Iran, China, and Russia.
4. Qarn Al-Manazil (Miqat Taif): This Miqat is also known as Al Sail Al Kabir. This is the Miqat for the people of U.A.E, Oman, Pakistan, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Najd, Riyadh, Dammam, and Khobar.
5. Dhul Hulayfah: This Miqat is also known as Abyar Ali. This Miqat is for the people of Medina.
