Prime Minister Imran Khan appointed Khalid Mansoor as his special assistant on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) affairs on August 3, 2021, after which CPEC Authority Chairman retired Lt Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa quit his position.
The Ministry of Water Resources on 24.08.2021 notified the appointment of retired Lt Gen Muzammil Hussain as the Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) chairman for a second consecutive term of five years.
